The Chemnitz-based startup Staffbase is one of the world’s leading providers of apps for improving employee communication in large and international companies.
For its rapidly growing number of employees, the company opened one of the most modern offices in the city in Chemnitz in 2018. At its new headquarters, Staffbase worked with wd3 and wp office to create ideal environments for its flexible work structures. For this purpose, part of the historic Wirkbau, a former factory for textile machinery, was converted into a 2,000-square-meter OpenSpace office and 140 workstations were set up.
With the Xbrick multifunctional furniture, the flomo mobile whiteboard, the height-adjustable tables from the motu series, and the specially developed flexible acoustic walls and individual retreats, the new office now offers the best conditions for agile working. In this way, employees can flexibly create the workspace they need themselves.
